Write down points earned per unit wagered for the chosen game category. Slots, table games and excluded titles can contribute at different rates.
Use the current authenticated loyalty page rather than assuming every casino in a network shares one earn table.
Convert the points balance using the exact cash, bonus-credit or prize exchange rule. Label the result honestly: withdrawable cash and restricted bonus funds are not equivalent.
If 1,000 points convert to A$5 bonus credit, the nominal rate is half a cent per point before any wagering or expiry condition.
Check minimum redemption, expiry, eligible tier and whether redeemed credit has a maximum cashout. A value that cannot be redeemed at the current balance is deferred, not available cash.
Do not count promotional points twice if they were already included in the displayed balance.
Divide expected redeemable value by the eligible wagering needed to earn it. Compare that ratio with cashback or a fee-free withdrawal benefit using the same spend assumptions.
Entertainment value still comes with loss risk; points do not turn wagering into savings.
